It's Thursday night here in Musanze. I am writing this post from Red Rocks Cultural Center. The establishment offers a wide range of cultural experiences, but that's a story for another day. Tonight, all I need is accommodation in a serene environment.

Speaking of accommodation, the center encompasses cottages, hostels, and safari tents. Also found on the premises is a spacious ground  used by traditional campers. I have chosen to have a deluxe camping experience. Also known as glamorous camping or simply glamping, this type of accommodation enables tourists to camp without compromising the comfort of modern bedrooms.

My tent has a comfortable bed, electricity, and a private bathroom. The set-up blends the flair of outdoor life with a little bit of luxury, which is exactly what I need. Moore and more tourists, myself included, are turning to glamping in pursuit of a fusion of comfort and simplicity.

As mentioned above, this is a cultural village. Unfortunately, I won't be able to indulge in cultural activities this weekend. I have planned a long trek to the confluence of Mukungwa and Nyabarongo rivers. After this physically taxing outing, I will sleep like a baby for about ten hours. After all, I have a comfortable bed to utilize.

Over the next two days, I will be sharing my latest experiences in Musanze right here. Stay tuned. Good things are meant to be shared, and my Musanze recollections are no exception.

Meanwhile, I have an announcement to make: My next book club session will feature a new book titled Magical Musanze. While in-person spots are fully booked, I extend an invitation to virtual participants from anywhere in the world. If you are interested in participating, reach out via contact details provided on this site.
