Since I was scheduled to visit Muhanga on the same day, I had limited time in Ruhango. Nevertheless, I was able to visit Kamegeri Rock and stage one book club session. The session, hosted by La Melisse Café, attracted six young baristas working in the area.

This was the 40th book club session staged through an initiative known as Turning Pages. The said initiative is designed to cultivate the culture of reading while promoting tourism. During the session, we turned the pages of a book titled Hello Kigali. The book in question showcases the capital of Rwanda as a premier tourist destination.

As the session picked up steam, we looked into the rapid growth of Kigali and the diversity of its residents. At some point, one participant brought up the contribution of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) subsector. Subsequently, we dissected the recreational activities indulged by the delegates of the meetings that take place in Kigali. At the end of the day, we concluded that there is a thin line between business and leisure.
